What is the plan?

What is the Plan?

The school board unanimously approved a one-question referendum with two parts: Question: A bond levy to be paid off over 20 years, and a 10-year capital projects levy to raise $200,000 annually for technology needs.

The bond levy would pay for:
• Long-term facility maintenance - roofs, flooring, lighting, and restrooms.
• Maximize space utilization including remodeling under-used student locker areas, library, and cafeteria commons spaces.
• Modernization of learning environments including enclosing elementary classrooms, renovation of career and technical education spaces, and inclusion of flexible collaboration spaces.
• Outdoor space improvements include a redesigned elementary school bus loop, updated stadium bleachers, and improvements to baseball fields.

The capital projects levy would provide:
• A stable funding source for technology infrastructure
• Technology equipment upgrades over the next ten years

How will the money be spent?
