Two Crosby-Ironton students are participating in the first Certified Nursing Assistant cohort which also includes students from Brainerd, Pequot Lakes, and Pillager. The class began on January 24th at Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd.
This cohort is made possible through funding from the Department of Labor and Industry through their Youth Skills Training grants and partnership with instructor Susan Mathison-Young (Advanced Care At Home, LLC), Good Samaritan Society, and the Sourcewell Career Pathways Program.
Whoever would have thought that students would be outside, enjoying reading their books, at the end of January? Mrs. Syrstad's class took full advantage of the unseasonably warm weather today! 😎
