C-I gave a blue ribbon performance from Emily Essman, Corvin Vanvicle, Enoch Anderson, Austin Robinson, and Grace Larsen! They finished in 1st place out of 30 teams at Knowledge Bowl in Staples on Feb 14th.
Knowledge Bowl is on a roll! Cadence Wynn, Spencer Hollenhorst, Toby Jacobson, Jonathan Maroney, and Evan Rydberg placed 3rd out of 30 teams on Feb 14th.

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) month!
This month is dedicated to raising awareness and celebrating the value of career and technical education in preparing students for high-demand careers and further education. CTE programs often provide students with the skills and knowledge needed for specific industries or trades, ranging from healthcare and technology to automotive repair and culinary arts. Thank you, Mr. Wood and Mr. Schafbuch!

7th grade ventured to the GREAT Theatre, last Thursday, to enjoy “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.” This trip was made possible thanks to Cuyuna Lakes Education Foundation. Thank you, GREAT Theatre, for hosting our 7th graders!




Congratulations, 1932 Boys State Basketball Team, on being inducted into the 2024 Crosby-Ironton Rangers Hall of Fame sponsored by Crosby-Ironton Sports Boosters.
The 1932 team, was the first team from Crosby-Ironton to make it to the State Tournament.
All inductees will be introduced during the boy's basketball game Friday, February 23 and honored at a luncheon on Saturday, February 24 at Taconite Canteen & Event Center. #gocigo #RangersHOF


College in the Schools (CIS) Practical Writing students have highlighted their achievements, goals for the future, and facts about themselves through their completed personal biographies. CIS Practical Writing is a new course to C-I that allows students the opportunity to earn college credit while learning how to write for a variety of situations, including academic, work, personal, and public use.

101 Days of School was celebrated by our first graders today!




Kindergarteners celebrated the 100th Day of School by dressing up and playing games having to do with 100!



Fourth graders spent some time helping first graders in Mrs. Jensen’s class practice identifying and counting pennies, nickels, and dimes. #GoCIGo
