Crosby-Ironton Transportation is in need of drivers!
If you have ever thought about becoming a bus driver, now is the time to become one! There are multiple openings at C-I. Please, contact the bus garage during the hours of 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. to learn more about the opportunities available.
*PSA- If these positions can't get filled, routes will be merged, causing much longer bus routes for students. Activities will be cancelled due to the shortage of drivers.

Families and Students 7-12 grade:
Starting second semester, the secondary school is going back to requiring all students who are absent from school for 1 or more classes to get an “ADMIT SLIP” from the office when they return. Students will show the admit slip to the teachers of the classes from which they were absent. If the absence is excused, then the student will be given the opportunity to make up all of the missed work. If the absence is unexcused, then the student will not be allowed to make up the missed work until the absence is excused by a parent or guardian.
Our reasoning for returning to the use of Admit Slips is to help cut down on the number of students skipping classes. Skipping has become a problem at all grade levels and we feel that we need to increase the accountability for our students. It is extremely important that parents contact the office attendance line to excuse absences as soon as possible to avoid complications and delays for your students in making up their missing work after an absence.
The attendance line number is 218-545-8802, press 2 for HS office, then 1 for the Attendance line. You can also email an office secretary at bzender@ci.k12.mn.us, ekruse@ci.k12.mn.us or deuteneuer@ci.k12.mn.us. Please feel free to email or call if you have any questions.
