The Ranger Nation, Strong Foundation plan aims to address the district's financial challenges, enhance student education, and retain and attract quality teachers and staff. If approved on Nov. 5, the 10-year, $1.5 million operating levy would help stabilize our budget, maintain class sizes, support vocational and technical education, and ensure essential student support services. Learn how our community shaped this plan at RangerNationStrongFoundation.org/plan.

On Nov. 5, Crosby-Ironton School District is asking voters to consider an operating levy referendum to stabilize district funding and preserve high-quality education. If voters approve the referendum, a home valued at $300,000 would see an estimated property tax increase of $21 per month, starting in 2025. To learn more about the proposed plan and its cost and tax impact, visit RangerNationStrongFoundation.org/tax-impact.

In July 2024, our district cut $718,000 from its operations budget, impacting class sizes in our elementary schools, student programs and services, and extracurricular activities. Now, we're facing a projected $1 million deficit for the 2025-2026 school year. Learn more about our challenges, how they impact students and staff, and our proposed plan to address them at RangerNationStrongFoundation.org/challenges.

October is Manufacturing Month! Thank you to our surrounding manufacturing companies: Graphic Packaging and Magnum Machining for being such an asset to C-I and to our students at C-I. These companies played an integral part of getting our student-run manufacturing business, Ranger Made, off the ground. There are great opportunities for students and adults in the manufacturing world!

"I am immensely proud of the quality education we provide to our students. However, our district is facing financial challenges that must be addressed to ensure we can continue delivering the education, programs and opportunities students deserve and our community expects. This is why the November referendum is a critical decision for the future of our schools." – Mike Domin, School Board Chair This November, make your voice heard on this important community decision.
