Covid-19 NEW Guidelines (As of January 17, 2022) Students: When students test positive for Covid-19, they should quarantine for ten days. After ten days, students are expected to return to school. Parents may choose to send their child back to school after five days of quarantine and if they do not have symptoms and have been fever free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication, but the child will be required to wear a face covering while on school grounds and on the bus for five days as conditions for returning to school earlier than the ten day quarantine. If you are choosing the 5 day option, a parent/guardian will need to call and speak with the school nurse to discuss the expectations for a 5 day return. Free At-Home Testing Kits: One Covid-19 home testing kit containing two tests and are available for students and staff. The kit requires the user to have a smartphone. Every student and employee are permitted to have one testing kit. Employees can pick up a testing kit in the District Office. Only a parent or guardian of a student enrolled in the Crosby-Ironton School District is permitted to pick up a free testing kit in the District Office. Testing kits may be picked up between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the District Office. If you have any questions please call 218-545-8801. Thank you!
