Miss Erickson's math classes celebrated Pi Day last Thursday! Enjoy the photos of their exploration of Pi.
7th Grade
Students created their own City of Pi Skyline by using the digits of Pi to color in square units as buildings.
Geometry
Students practiced their measuring skills with a string and ruler by measuring the circumference and diameter of everyday household objects. Students were able to make a connection between the ratio of a circle's circumference and diameter to Pi.
8th Grade
Each 8th grade student in Mrs. Moore and Miss Erickson's classes were given three digits of Pi to create a poster with. All the posters were hung up along the locker bay. This activity totaled up to 201 digits of Pi!

Ranger Made has been expanding its offerings beyond just signage and into apparel as well. Creating jerseys for JO Volleyball and being contacted by local businesses like Iron Range Veterinary Clinic and Mixed Company shows that Ranger Made is becoming a trusted name for custom creations in our community. This expansion into apparel could provide additional opportunities for growth and recognition. It's great to see our student-run manufacturing business thriving and meeting the needs of various groups and businesses in your area!
